I started karting relatively late as mum & dad work in motorsport and wanted to keep me away from it! But after having a go at indoor karting when I was 10, I fell in love with it

I got my own kart in 2024 and started racing in Minimax 950 at Fulbeck Kart Club. I won the Sprint Series that year, despite missing the last 2 rounds because I’d grown too tall for my kart and had to move up to Juniors. I was still only 12 and relatively inexperienced compared with the people I was racing against, so it was in at the deep end!

In 2025 my focus was on learning new tracks and improving my race craft, so I didn’t compete for a championship. But I did selected club rounds at Shenington, Fulbeck, PFI, Kimbolton, scoring some strong results along the way.

I also competed in the Junior Primo class of The Kart Championship from the second round onwards, qualifying in the top 10 (on grids of nearly 30) in all but my first race

In 2026 I’m hoping to compete in The Kart Championship again, this time in the Junior class. I’ll also be racing at as many club rounds as possible at various tracks

Proudest moments:

• Winning a championship in my first season of racing

• Finishing 2nd with fastest lap while still on novice plates in one of my first races in juniors

• Getting into every A final while still on novice plates

• Qualifying P3 in my first race at PFI - which just happened to be in a national championship!
