Hayden Macey - Cadet Kart Driver
Hayden is an 11 year old cadet kart driver from Merseyside who began karting in 2023 and progressed quickly into competitive racing. Since then the focus has been on building his ability step by step and progressing into outdoor competition in a structured way.
He trains on track, uses the simulator regularly, works on fitness and reaction drills and reviews footage after sessions. The aim is not only lap time but understanding what needs improving each time he drives and turning that into consistent progress across race meetings.
Reaching the BIKC Cadet National Final and competing against drivers from across the country was an important milestone and confirmed his motivation to continue developing in the sport.

Hayden is now competing in Club100 and the Daniel Ricciardo Series as part of his move into outdoor karting. The focus this season is racecraft, consistency and confidence in larger grids and higher speed environments.
Long term the plan is to continue building outdoor experience and prepare properly for the transition into junior karting, with steady development always taking priority over rushing steps.
