The British Women Racing Drivers Club was formed in 1962 by Mary Wheeler MBE, with the aim of promoting and supporting women in all forms of motorsport.

With over fifty years of history, our members compete for some of the most prestigious championships available to women. The coveted trophies are presented at our annual awards dinner each February.

We also present The Lord Wakefield Challenge Trophy, the highest accolade bestowed upon a woman for outstanding performances or services to motorsport, at Motorsport UK's Night of Champions.
