Snetterton 300 Race report - JSCC Rounds 13-15 : July'26

Round 13 - P5>P10
Round 14 - P4>P5
Round 15 - P2>P3

Saturday Quali: Bit off the Friday testing pace but a fairly decent outcome. Consistency and mostly staying off the sensors always pays off.

Saturday R13 : A good start and immediately gained a place but then lost 3rd gear before turn 1 and immediately dropped down the order. Spent the rest of the race managing the gearbox and defending as best I could to finish P10.

The team did a mega job into the night swapping out my gearbox and then, upon discovering our spare wasn't great, having to swap it out for another box!

Sunday R14 : Made a place by the first corner but struggled to stay with the front two and maintain the tow on the longer straights. Went wide exiting turn 4 and dropped a couple of places. Battled hard to get them back but the box jumped out of second a couple of times, which didn't help. Came home P5.

Sunday R15 : Good battle with Martin & Leon on the first lap but ultimately dropped to P3. Had the occasional 'moment' with the new gearbox but hung on for a podium when the race was red flagged at almost full distance. Congrats to @martinwrightracer for his first win!

Shout out to my teammates @tomjustice57racing & @caelen.msport for their mega debuts in the championship.

It was cool to be awarded the driver of the meeting for Pembrey!

Massive thanks to everyone at Cursley Motorsport for all of their support and coaching, particularly Alex, Carl & Anna for swapping out the gearboxes whilst we were watching the football!
