I'm Sam Roy, a 15-year-old racing driver from Farnham, Surrey, currently making the step from karting into car racing.

Karting has been my proving ground. Season 1 of the 2025 Daytona SuperChamps ended with the championship title, built on a run of consistent podium finishes rather than one lucky weekend — the kind of results that come from race craft, tyre management and knowing when to attack and when to bank the points.

Away from the circuit, I put in serious mileage on iRacing. It's not a substitute for the real thing, but it's where I learn new tracks, refine setup work and keep my racecraft sharp between events.

The next chapter is UK club racing. I'm currently working towards a competition licence and a seat in a one-make championship, where close, low-cost, high-quality racing offers the best platform to develop as a driver and prove what I can do against experienced competition.

Long term, the goal is simple: to race at the highest level I can reach, and to repay the people who back me along the way.
