Peter first got a taste for karting early in 2022 with a visit to TeamKarting in Rochdale. That year he competed in two championships:
P4 in the summer championship; mere months after first stepping in a kart
Champion in the winter championship
Christmas 2022 a Honda Cadet go kart was the main Christmas present and outdoor practice started the following year
2023 saw him take a number of trophies, indoor and outdoor:

In this year Peter was the first Junior in its history to post a sub-27 second lap time at TeamKarting.
Unlike many of his fellow competitors, Peter took to karting relatively "late"; so 2024 he was thrown in the deep end at SuperOne - one of the main national championships on the calendar

For 2025 Peter has been one of the pioneers of the R200 class; competing at Teesside in the Sprint Series (currently P6) and nationally with UK Kart Series (currently P4).
