Hi there!
My name is Matthew Lyddall, I am 14 years old and in the last 18 months I've achieved some things I never could of imagined achieving! I have become the championship leader at Aldershot Model Car Club, a 21 time Teamsport winner, a BIKC regional finalist and I brought my first kart in late 2023 having upgraded since then to go racing!
Next year, my ambition is to make it to the NKC, the National Kart Cup! This will see me join over 200 drivers in the championship at 7 different tracks throughout the year, improving my racecraft, knowledge of racing lines in the wet and the dry, confidence and determination, as well as making some new friends along the way!
However to achieve my dream season of karting next year I need your help. Luckily, the NKC has multiple ways of keeping costs down but there is no way of escaping the expensive nature of karting. I nearly have all the funds for next season but need just a little bit more to be able to race competitively.
