Maya Nefzi is an 11-year-old British kart racer with a bold ambition: to climb the motorsport ladder and one day compete at the highest levels in single seaters.

Raised in the UK and with 2 years experience under her belt, Maya treats every race as a learning opportunity where she refines racecraft, decision-making and physical resilience. Her racing journey is guided by a love of the sport and a commitment to steady improvement — she constantly works to be faster, smarter and stronger on and off track.

Despite her youth, Maya has already secured places in a number of competitive programmes and championships, demonstrating both talent and potential. Notable milestones to date include a second-place finish on debut in the Jamie Chadwick Series (Cadet Category), accepted position in the FAT Karting League Cadet Pro Series (national) and the SRK Driver & Team Championship (Southern) racing with Stalloni Campioni, selection into the British Women Racing Drivers Club, and acceptance into Whilton Mill Junior Karting Academy through assessment (due to being under 12). Her 2026 calendar features racing in the Jamie Chadwick Series (Junior category from Round 3 onwards), F.A.T Karting League Junior Regional (electric karts), SRK Championship (Cadet), Whilton Mill Junior Summer Championship and the Daytona Milton Keynes Winter Series (Junior).
