Hello my name is Luca (15) Racing karts for over 2 years. BIKC Driver Academy participant Owned a Subaru 4 stroke kart Trying to race at Kartsport Cantabury in Briggs.
Hello my name is Luca, I am 16 years old and have been racing gokarts for over 2 years now.
In England I raced for the majority of 2024 in the BIKC Driver Academy, as well as driving my own 4 stroke Subaru kart at Lydd kart circuit for a few months.
I have since moved back home to New Zealand about a year ago and I was very fortunate to have 2 opportunities to drive and race a Briggs senior kart at Kartsport Cantabury in late march 2025. I have been out of karts since then and I am so hungry for the opportunity to race once again.
I am looking for any financial support from anyone willing to help invest in my startup in racing once again, and hopefully I can get back on the grid this year, even if it's for one race, it will mean the world to me and it will give me a chance to prove my worth to not only everyone who doubts me, but myself too. After being out of a kart for so long I ended up formally quitting racing for over half a year, as it was impossible to me, however recently, I have been out today anyway sports completely, with a double concussion in two weeks. I lost the opportunity to compete for my school in any sports for god knows how long, so that's why I want to get back in a kart asap, because I know it's the one sport I am truly good at and I need to prove myself.
As an addition, I have had a tiktok account that I posted my karting journey on for over a year and a half now, I have gained over 3700 followers, who have been starved of any content to watch or support me on. People are constantly asking when I will be racing again and to that I have had no answer for them. I want to continue to grow my social media presence if I can, so I can attract potential sponsors ect.
I know I sound like every other driver who says, "My dream is F1 and I want you help". That's not the case here. All I want is to have at least one more chance in a kart again so I can prove my worth to my fan base, my friends, family and the grid from across England to New Zealand. All I ask of you is to at least consider donating to my cause, because everything helps and you will help me finish what I started so long ago now.
