Liam Dooling is a young UK kart racing driver currently competing in Rotax Junior Max, having progressed quickly through the early stages of his motorsport journey.

He first got into karting in 2024 at his local indoor track, and what started as a bit of fun soon became something he wanted to pursue more seriously. By early 2025, he’d moved into Rotax MiniMax, stepping into club-level racing and gaining experience against more established drivers.

In his first full season, Liam showed strong pace while building consistency and developing his racecraft across a range of race conditions. Across 23 race meetings, he achieved 2 race wins, 11 podium finishes, and 18 top ten results. He also secured Vice Champion at Wombwell Kart Club, 3rd overall in the Rebel Racing Championship, and 4th overall in the Fulbeck MSUK Championship.

The results are a strong reflection of his first season, but it’s how quickly he adapted that stands out. From his early races to running at the front within the same year, Liam has demonstrated both natural ability and a clear commitment to improving. He works to understand where performance can be gained, applying feedback and making steady progress from one weekend to the next — an approach that highlights both maturity and long-term potential.

For 2026, he’s stepped up into Rotax Junior Max with Maxim Motorsport, competing across a full UK race programme including Trent Valley Kart Club, Shenington Kart Club, and The Kart Championship. Working within a professional team environment, with driver coaching and structured support, and racing in a faster, more demanding category against older drivers, Liam has adapted quickly and is already showing strong early signs of pace within a highly competitive field, with further development expected as he continues to grow into the class.

He approaches the sport with a long-term mindset, putting equal focus on preparation away from the track — including fitness and race preparation — as well as what he delivers on race weekends.
