Change of plan!

So!

With the whole intention of competing in the Mini Challenge JCW Sport series for 2024, as i dug deeper i realized just how difficult it was going to be to try and rent a car from a team for a series that had never previously existed.

I started to weigh up my options, i have a Mini cooper that i previously raced and still have access to race, an R56 turbo Cooper S (the car that started all of this and the one that i passed my ARDS racing license test in) sat in our yard waiting for some TLC, or i could work incredibly hard under immense pressure to try and achieve the goal of JCW and the financial implications of that series.

I am still super new to the car racing world and i have put myself under some serious pressure since i started, i really need the time in the car to gain the confidence and experience i need, i sometimes feel like my age gets on top of me but when i see the likes of Matt Neal or Jason Plato still absolutely dominating in their 50's, i need to relax.

So i'm pretty sure the plan is the amazing championship that is MINI Challenge Clubsport - in the Cooper S. A fair bit more power than what i am used to, but a familiar car to help myself build the confidence and skill that i need.
