My name is Josh Parker-Cramp, and I’m a 14-year-old aspiring kart racer from Wimborne, Dorset. Growing up with autism, I faced bullying, anxiety, health challenges, and struggles with my weight, which often affected my confidence and self-belief. There were times when things felt difficult, but I refused to give up on myself or my goals.
When I discovered karting, everything changed. Motorsport gave me focus, discipline, and determination. It pushed me to become stronger mentally and physically, while teaching me the importance of hard work, resilience, and never quitting when things get tough.
Since starting my racing journey, I’ve competed in BIKC, South Coast Karting Championships, and the SRK National Series across the UK. Every race helps me improve my racecraft, consistency, and confidence both on and off the track.
My dream is to build a career in motorsport, progress into the GXUK Championship series, and one day compete in endurance racing. I want to inspire others by showing that obstacles, setbacks, and personal challenges do not define your future — determination does.
Karting is more than just a hobby to me — it’s my passion, my motivation, and the future I’m working hard to achieve every single day.
