Strong Minded & Determined with an aim to be on the Mini Challenge Clubsport grid 2024
My team JCM Motor sport was started in August 2021 when I decided to make the move from outdoor & indoor Karting to Short Track Oval racing in Hot rods
I have been racing since young age doing indoor events mostly as owning & running a Kart was big money which my parents were unable to do due to family only having the 1 income, I played rugby, football & table tennis/Snooker which I competed a high level in both. When I was 23 I funded myself in go karts at my local club track in Rotax max class where in my 1st year I finished 4th out 10 & in my 2nd year I won the club championship.
When I was 25 I concentrated more on my career & passing my driving test working at Bodyshop cosmetics to build by portfolio for supervisor/management levels which I achieved. I now work at Rolls Royce Motorcars in Goodwood & have been for almost 7 years. When I was 29 & was able to take time for myself again I funded karting again at my local track in the Rotax Max Evo finishing 4th in both years.2021 I joined the short oval hot rods group were out of 25 other racers I finished 7th overall.
2023 we decided to expand are family with a little baby boy so no racing was conducted within 2023 year but we purchased a Ginetta G40 GRDC which is a race car for both track & road, we brought this to allow me to do track days to keep learning & understanding tracks. I also have a sim set up that allows me to get virtual understanding of new & current track
