Superone Rounds 1&2 Rowrah

🏁 Super One Rounds 1 & 2 – Rowrah | April 2026

After competing in my first outdoor race at the O Plate in March, I returned to Rowrah in April for Rounds 1 & 2 of the 2026 Super One Series with XKart.

This was a really important weekend for me because it was my first ever race weekend competing in a national karting championship.

Saturday's Round 1 brought some of the toughest conditions I'd raced in so far, with heavy rain, strong winds and cold temperatures making the track really challenging.

I qualified P17, but continued to learn and improve throughout the day. I worked my way forward to P13 in both heats before making up more places in the Final to finish P11.

Sunday's Round 2 was completely different, with much better weather and dry running throughout the day. I qualified P12, finished P11 in Heat 1 and then moved forward again to P8 in Heat 2.

I had a brilliant start to the Final and managed to get myself all the way up to P6 within the opening corners.

Unfortunately, shortly afterwards I was caught up in an unavoidable incident which brought out the red flag. The kart suffered a broken track rod and bent steering column, and the damage meant I couldn't take the restart, resulting in a DNS.

It was really disappointing after such a good start, but there were still lots of positives to take from the weekend.

I finished my first ever national championship weekend P11 in the Super One Championship, which gave us a great starting point for the season and made me even more determined for the next rounds.
