Superone round 7&8 Fulbeck

🏁 Super One Rounds 7 & 8 – Fulbeck | July 2026

Rounds 7 & 8 of the 2026 Super One Series took us to Fulbeck, another completely new circuit for me during my first season competing in national karting.

Friday practice was focused on learning the circuit, working with XKart on the setup and using data with my driver coach to understand where I could improve. I adapted well to the new track and was consistently running around the top 10 on pace, giving us confidence heading into the weekend.

Round 7 – Saturday

I qualified P14 before moving forward to P12 in Heat 1.

Heat 2 was more difficult and I finished P14. I had started to lose some confidence in the kart and found myself driving more defensively instead of attacking and making overtakes.

Before the Final, I worked with my driver coach to look at where I could improve and went back out determined to be more confident and aggressive with my racing.

It made a big difference. I started making overtakes again and worked my way forward to finish the Final in P10, giving us another top-10 national result.

Round 8 – Sunday

Sunday began with P15 in qualifying after getting caught in traffic.

Unfortunately, Heat 1 brought some bad luck when another driver spun directly in front of me. I had nowhere to go and the contact damaged the kart, resulting in a DNF.

The team repaired the kart and made some setup changes before Heat 2. The improvements immediately gave me more confidence and I recovered to finish P12.

Because of the earlier DNF, I had to start the Final from P18, giving me plenty of work to do.

I kept pushing throughout the race, making up six positions to finish P12.

Fulbeck wasn't our easiest weekend, but it taught me a lot. I had to deal with setbacks, rebuild my confidence and keep fighting even when things weren't going our way.

Coming away with another top-10 finish, making progress through the field and gaining more experience at another new circuit were all positives to take forward.

Most importantly, we left Fulbeck sitting P7 in the Super One Championship with four rounds remaining. 🧡🏁
