A good pace during qualifying on wets achieving 3rd on the grid

Half the grid chose wets and half chose dry tyres - dry tyres proved the correct choice, after running second in the early laps the wet tyres overheated and got chewed up

DNF - red and black flagged due to technical issue. Chain guard came off on lap 7 while running at a good pace in 5th and gaining on 4th and 3rd positions - an opportunity lost.

Starting at the back of the grid dur to previous technical flag, a racing incident in the first few corners saw me lose 13 seconds after being turned in on. Although the final position was disappointing it did not reflect the good pace I had during the day. I gained back 10 seconds in the remainder of the race and had been showing top 4-5 pace throughout the day.

Front left tyre determined had finished it's usable life

Improved time but throttle issue detected as kart was underpowered

Gained 1 place and more competitive finishing 1.721 seconds behind leader - also finishing in front of Senior entries

A solid race consolidating 4th place

Dropping 2 positions the finish in one piece. In the penultimate lap the rain came down harder and at the beginning of the last lap disaster struck as i aqua planed at approximately 40mph backwards into the barrier. The bumper did it's job and the fittings are a write off but fortunately only a slight neck injury for myself. The rain ultimately won the day after making a lot of positive progress throughout the day - onwards and upwards to the next round.
