Shenington Superprix

A tough weekend at the Shenington Superprix, but still another step forward and another signature on the upgrade card as I keep working towards coming off novice plates.

Missing the Friday test day meant I was playing catch-up from the start. The two Saturday morning practice sessions were useful for getting comfortable with the kart set-up.

Qualifying was interrupted by a red flag and I ended up starting the heats from the middle of the pack.

There were positives, including some luck in Heat 1, but I also learned a lot about track positioning and race craft under pressure. From there, it was a case of battling through the B final and dealing with a couple of contacts that cost me more ground.

Not the weekend I wanted, but there are lessons to take away and plenty to build on. Thanks as always to everyone supporting me:
