Charlie Edge will join the Chris Dittmann Racing team for the 2025 ROKiT F4 British Championship certified by the FIA. Charlie will be testing with the team throughout 2024 alongside racing in the Daniel Ricciardo Series Karting Championship.
Charlie started off in indoor karting at quite a late age (10 years old) at a local circuit, but it soon became apparent after setting the Lap record that he had a flare for driving as fast as possible. After his first year of winning, the indoor circuits became in his words “Slow and to easy” so it was time to move up a gear to the outdoor circuits.
Charlie moved to the Daytona outdoor karting championships in 2022 racing in two (2) championships, and in 2023 took the Superchamps title by being on the podium for every round. He took the top spot four (4) times and beat his closest rival with two (2) rounds to go.
At the end of 2023 Charlie entered the prestigious Daniel Ricciardo series (DRS100) with only the final 3 rounds available Charlie used these as a shake down ready for the full season in 2024.
Throughout 2024 Charlie will be testing with the CDR British F4 team. Testing will start in May and run through to October, the testing will consist of a packed twelve (12) months, with significant simulator training along with full track testing sessions.
