Charlie’s love of racing started when he first drove “solo” at Adrian Valles Kart centre in Moraira, Costa Blanca in 2017 when he was 6 years old. When he lived in Spain, AV Kart centre was a regular place to visit with his former rally driver Dad.
When he started secondary school, Charlie saw an opportunity to get involved with his school’s Greenpower team; which designs, constructs and races an electric car at race tracks across the country. In 2023 his team came 12th at the International F24 Finals at Goodwood.
Having experienced a form of racing, and having driven some local indoor and outdoor kart tracks during 2023, Charlie and his family decided that 2024 would be his rookie season competing in a national karting championship and, having researched the options available, Charlie is signed up to compete in the Daniel Ricciardo Series. He gained his Super KX License in November 2023.
