About
The Daniel Ricciardo Series is a UK-based one-make karting championship built around identical Ricciardo-branded karts to provide a clear, affordable pathway into owner-driver and arrive-and-drive racing. Launched in 2019 by promoter Andy Cox in collaboration with Formula 1 race-winner Daniel Ricciardo, the series runs tightly controlled technical regulations so that every DRS Cadet, DRS100 Junior and DRS125 Senior kart is prepared to the same specification, putting the emphasis firmly on racecraft, consistency and driver development. Operating as a recognised Motorsport UK club, it combines structured coaching via the Daniel Ricciardo Young Driver Academy with professionally organised race weekends at leading British circuits, creating a supportive paddock atmosphere for families taking their first steps in karting and ambitious young drivers aiming to progress up the single-seater ladder.
