SuperOne Rnd 1&2 at Rowrah

So after a long drive and a nervous start to our 1st proper race weekend in top tier karting with not knowing what to expect we settled in well with great company, weather and improvements made all round.

We gained lots of track time and experience on Friday practice. With a few bumps and bent pieces but Dad, Conrad and Deano sorted me out to get back on track and like new albeit with some war wounds now 😬

Then Saturday brought glorious weather again and then without a huge amount of time for qualifying only managed to get in an average time.

QUALIFIED 12th out of 17 which I was happy with.

HEAT 1 we finished 13th out of 17 after a little spin

HEAT 2 we finished 11th out of 17

FINAL we finished 11th out of 17

With the biggest gain coming in the final with a setup change carried out and finding myself breaking into the 53.5 second laps and improving over my average lap time by nearly a second so super happy with how the weekend went and the memories made with great people and friends
