Northampton Shaleway, formerly known as Northampton International Raceway, is one of the UK’s longest‑serving short oval venues and a key hub for BriSCA stock car and hot rod racing. Located in the Northamptonshire countryside between Brafield-on-the-Green and Horton, the 396‑metre floodlit oval delivers close-contact, spectator‑friendly racing with packed grids, frequent contact, and a lively atmosphere. Now converted from tarmac to shale, it regularly hosts BriSCA F1 and F2 Stock Cars, National Hot Rods, Bangers, Saloon Stock Cars and other formulae, including major championship meetings that attract leading drivers and large crowds.
