ROUND 4 SNETTERTON 300

Qualifying

Went into the day knowing this was going to be a tricky race with a very technical circuit and only having a couple of hours practise previous at snetterton but managed to beat my best time of 2.36.56 with a end best lap of 2.31.32 which I was very happy with and took me by surprise!

Race

• the race started well with me keeping the pace up and managing to move up a position but after a couple more laps the car didn’t quite feel right and wasn’t handling as well as I would of liked which also cost me my position , each lap it was clear the car just didn’t feel the best but even so I managed to get a fastest time of 2.28.32 which showed I was really pushing and trying to gain the place back !

In the lap before I planned to come into the pits and after signalling to the pit crew the car didn’t feel great the race came to an end for me due to a incident that led to the car hitting the tyre wall and having to be lifted off the track

Felt absolutely gutted but luckily the damage is fixable ! The marshals , medics and team all did such a great job and where friendly and made me feel a bit better about the situation

but for now it’s damage repair time and get a trackday booked in to do some testing
