RACE REPORT 🏁

I knew this was going to be a tricky day when the rain didn’t stop and the track was slippy , going out into qualifying feeling a bit nervous the car didn’t feel the best so I come in to soften the dampers which helped a lot ! Having not raced in wet conditions before the qualifying time was mainly for learning track in different conditions and getting confidence in the car

I ended up with a best time of 1.14 and back of the grid

Race

The track has started to dry up from being used by other championships during the day but still had a couple of slippery spots around the track

The race start and first couple of laps went well I felt very confident and managed to gain a position in first half of the lap and started to put a gap between the car behind and started closing in on the car infront , however 8 laps in I was involved in a race incident and my race come to an end

Luckily no one was hurt which is good !

I managed a best time of 1.02 which showed I was getting more confident as the laps went on

The civic is now in need of some big repairs ready for next season , it will be a lot of work but it will be worth it ! 😎🏁
