Final Weekend at RMC Poland- Katarzyna Tomiczek

Final weekend at RMC Poland, and it was not the ending I had hoped for.

We arrived prepared, had strong pace in practice and I felt confident in the kart. The starts were good, the overtakes were there and, whenever the kart allowed me to race, I kept pushing and fighting for every position.

Unfortunately, technical issues were part of the whole weekend. At different points we were dealing with brakes, engine pick-up and acceleration out of the corners, which made a big difference to how the kart behaved and how much I could attack.

That said, I’m proud of the way we kept digging in. Even when things were not working properly, I kept defending, kept trying to make moves and kept getting everything I could out of the package.

It is frustrating to finish a season like this, but there is still a lot to take from it. We have shown real promise this year, and this weekend gives us more to learn from, improve on and come back stronger.
