Much Better Weekend Round 4 T4 Series Clay

A really good weekend for us overachieving are results considering the competition strengh and some good luck.

Heat 1 we started last and had too make our way through the pack with some good overtakes i managed too make it too 2nd place but 1st place had already driven off into the distance and the pace differential was not big enough too close the gap but it was closer than i expected.

Heat 2 went much the same as heat 1 started 4th made my way past too 2nd again but again pace differential wasnt big enough.

Heat 3 starting to get consistent now same as the previous heats started 4th finished 2nd for 3rd time in a row.

Final this was a weird race for me i started 2nd 3rd pplace had got there kart in working order and we set of in the race with 3rd place right behind me the whole race making moves trying too get me to brake later by bumping into the corner i kept my focus and concentration kept my line thought i had it going into the last lap but i just lost concentration into the 1st corner and 3rd got by even a 3rd was a great result if you had said i would be getting 3rd places 3 months ago i would of been happy with that but the nature of competition i wasnt i was devastated and thought id let myself down by giving up 2nd after all that hard work. Truth of the matter is i probably lernt more in that one 22 lap race than i have in my whole time in a T4 and i will remember that going forward. On too the next race a long drive for us up to rowrah near the lake district hope the bumble bus gets us there.
