Silverstone race report - Round 5 of the Mini Challenge Clubsport Championship 2025

Our weekend was emotional, heartbreaking and incredible all at the same time, unfortunately our set up was destroyed with thanks to storm Amy, a lot of work went into this weekend and it was soul destroying to see the result of the storm, but we all pulled together and made the best of what we could
Quali - pole - really positive final qualifying of the year, the car was spot on and felt really suited to the track at the stage of the weekend and our 5th pole of the year!
Race one - dnf - we lead from pole and pulled a healthy gap initially but on lap 3 disaster, and rod decided it wanted to leave the chat and that was the end of our race and nearly our season
However the biggest thank you has to go to the team, we had people driving to collect things people picking up a car which the guys at at motorsport very kindly allowed us to use the engine, and Paul and Tony along with many others who pulled off a miracle to get us back out for race 3 with minutes to spare.
Race 3 - starting last we had an amazing first lap and by the end of lap two the lead! I was shaking with adrenaline from the day and the race, but what a brilliant battle with Chris that went on all race long, he gave me no room for error and it was just epic! We came home with the win and well the emotions definitely were flowing in parc ferme!
Overall I just want to say thank you, a dream came true on Sunday, and it wouldn’t be possible without the many individuals who all make this happen both on and off the track, my partners, team, family, friends and supporters we are all one big team and family as this season is a championship for all of us, thank you for making it all possible!
