Here is our race report from the third round of the Mini Challenge Clubsport 2025 season at the MINI festival

Qualifying - we struggled a little in qualifying with the car,the track didn’t produce a lot of grip and the car just wasn’t quite hooked up. However towards the end of the session we managed to get a few times in and grab pole by a tenth!
Race one - tough! We made a host of changes to get the car performing better which made a huge difference, we lead away from pole but got a little bit stuck behind one of the cooper s cars who unfortunately was running with a issue. Due to this I cooked the front tyres and when we managed to get through on the cooper s I was vulnerable behind to Gary. It was a very fun race but a stressful one and luckily we managed to hold onto the lead just by 4 tenths!
Race two - was similar to race two but I was pushed a lot harder! Gary was on my tail throughout but we managed to hold on to take a second win of the weekend!
Race three - disaster strikes. Off the start I dropped back to second but we stayed on the tail of Gary and I started to try and attack from the lead. In the early stages I couldn’t quite get close enough but on lap ten I managed to prise the door open and got down the inside however it wasn’t meant to be, an engine failure put an end to our race and our run! Gutted is an understatement but still 8 wins in a row is a lot to be proud of!
Summary - tough to take but still a very good weekend overall, the weekend put on by mini challenge clubsport and brands hatch was brilliant and thank you to everyone who came along said hello and supported us over the weekend! It’s going to be busy to get the car fixed but we will be back and stronger than ever! Onwards and upwards!
