About

The Castle Combe Junior Karting Championship is a premium outdoor rental-kart series for 10–16-year-olds, run by Drive-Tech at the historic Castle Combe Circuit in Wiltshire. Drivers must first graduate from the dedicated Junior Kart Racing School, ensuring they arrive on the grid with solid racecraft and an understanding of safety and flags before tackling a structured programme of practice, heats and finals. With Spring and Autumn championships each spanning ten rounds, and only a driver’s best scores counting, the format encourages regular participation while remaining accessible for families. All karts and safety equipment are provided, keeping costs predictable and allowing young racers to focus on learning lines, racecraft and consistency. Many alumni progress into national-level karting and junior car racing, making the series a proven stepping stone from grassroots rental karting to more serious competition.
