About
The British Hillclimb Championship is the premier hillclimbing series in the United Kingdom, pitting some of the fastest single-seaters and specialist machines against iconic climbs from Prescott and Shelsley Walsh to Doune and Craigantlet. Organised by the British Automobile Racing Club on behalf of Motorsport UK, the championship typically features 30 scoring rounds across 10 venues, with drivers chasing points in intense ‘Top Twelve’ run-offs at each event. Blending historic venues, demanding technical courses and a paddock renowned for its accessibility, it offers a national stage for serious hillclimb competitors while remaining one of the most spectator‑friendly forms of British motorsport.
