NatSKA Rounds 9 & 10 Llandow

The weekend saw us travel to Llandow in South Wales for Rounds 9 & 10 of the NatSKA championships. Having missed few rounds due to schedule clashes, Bertie is paying catch up ahead of the final few rounds.

Saturday started off as bad as it could have. Bertie had a huge crash in practice - sadly damaging the kart but thankfully not himself. We weren’t sure if he would be able to race again on Saturday but he did - and despite some understandable nerves, he showed his determination and resilience and came in P3 for the day, securing valuable championship points.

Sunday was race day for Round 10. We got a DSQ in Heat 1 for coming in underweight - then won Heat 3, came 3rd in Heat 3. In Heat 4 he had to win- he started 14th on the grid and quite possibly had the drive of his life to secure the win.
